Drinks and ice

  • A bottle of rosé or a crisp white
  • An alcohol-free version: espresso, simple syrup and cream, shaken over ice

Coffee ice cubes

Freeze leftover coffee in an ice tray so iced coffees and the no-alcohol espresso drink stay strong. For wine, a big sphere with a rose petal frozen inside.

Make ahead

  1. 1 day before: Make the spinach dip (unbaked). Freeze the coffee cubes. Chill the wine.
  2. Afternoon of: Build the grazing board. Cut fruit for the fondue.
  3. 1 hour out: Feta pasta in the oven. Dip in after it.
  4. When friends arrive: Flatbreads in, first round of drinks.
  5. Later: Melt the chocolate for fondue right before dessert.
