Disco-ball sphere ice

Freeze water in round sphere molds; for extra sparkle, freeze edible glitter or a few pomegranate seeds inside. Serve margaritas over one sphere with a chili-salt rim.

Make ahead

  1. 1 week before: Make the cake pops and freeze them (decorate with sprinkles once thawed). Order a mirror ball and string lights.
  2. 2 days before: Freeze the sphere ice. Make the margarita base without the ice.
  3. 1 day before: Move furniture to make a dance floor. Set up the lights and the bar. Prep nacho toppings.
  4. Morning of: Meatballs in the slow cooker on low.
  5. When guests arrive: Sliders and nachos in the oven. Lights down, music up.
